Jeremy Riches - Peripoint Limited.   Implementation consultancy for Social Housing Contractors / DLO Organizations;  Software Design & Analysis for Contracting, Manufacturing, Jobbing, Stock Control & Materials Management, Fleet,  Social Housing systems.  As a former product manager for the Civica Servitor solution & mobile working applications, and software designer & business analyst for Cx Contractor, have worked with over 50 Social Housing Contractor and DLO organizations across the UK.  Our implementation services include: business process mapping, solution design; data analysis and preparation, integration requirements, reporting requirements, customisation requirements, UAT planning and assistance, custom training, go live support and floor walking.   We also do business health checks to ensure optimal use of systems being used, consultancy to support procurement of new system systems, and specifications of system enhancements.  Our software design services include: sooftware design and business analysis including high level solution options and requirements analysis, blueprint designs and mockups, solution maps and module & feature definition, functional specifications.   • Background: Social Housing Solutions

    As a former product manager for Civica's Servitor solution & mobile working applications, I was responsible for all operational aspects of the products - development, implementation and support.  Since 2008 to present, Servitor enjoyed a resurgence of success with new and existing customers through innovative product features & modules, many of which which I conceived and designed for the development team to deliver.  Project wise, I had the pleasure of working with over 50 contractor / DLO organisations from initial solution requirements through project implementation and post go-live support.  Customers ranged from small to very large, including multi-site contractors.  Overseeing the PMs and implementation team, I was regularly working with customers to ensure projects were delivered timely and solutions exceeded expectations.  My hands on approach supported the implementation team leading workshops and documenting:  project solution design, business process modelling, walk through of complex areas of functionality, integration, custom requirements specification, implementation solution reviews and monthly project review meetings. 

      

    An example of a major project I was instrumental in delivering, was a multi-site implementation for Kier.  My involvement included: 


    • Delivering a number of solution workshops to flesh out detailed requirements with the senior Kier management team
    • Building a set of detailed process flow models to enable a consistent and optimal roll out across sites
    • Putting together the overall solution design
    • Analysing and writing specifications for a number of product enhancements to very tight timescales
    • Managing the solution configuration requirements across multiple implementation consultants 
    • 11 month secondment with Kier during the roll-out phase as a "subject matter expert" to directly provide consultancy alongside the Kier team, including solution modelling/testing, system configuration tasks, onsite workshops, advising and providing data analysis and prep, writing training materials and onsite go-live support / trouble shooting. 

    Over recent years I was one of the primary leading designers of Civica's new Cx Contractor solution (including mobile application and scheduling) responsible for the blueprint design , and subsequently wrote a large proportion of the detailed functional specifications for development.  


    During the development we worked directly with a number of Organisations, presenting the solution as it evolved for review and feedback. Post development, as I was the primary solution expert for Cx Contractor, I carried out in depth testing and provided training / consultancy to the internal Civica implementation team to aid getting implementations underway.  

  • Background: Software Design & Analysis

    I have a strong and proven track record of designing & delivering innovative, commercially sound software applications, and have worked with many customers to ensure solutions exceed expectations.  A key aspect of my previous roles for Social Housing above included B/A and design, and in my time I have written hundreds of specifications.


    Prior to the above roles I have worked on software applications for a number of different industry sectors:


    • Developer and analyst for Tranman Fleet Management & Tranman Incident Management Solutions
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining RAC's Vehicle Inspection "Fastcom" system
    • Head developer at Hawkstave - an ERP, Manufacturing & Finance system.
    • IT Manager at Biwater Industries, where my primary role was implementing an ERP system across multiple business units. 

    Where time permits, I prefer to adopt a traditional / waterfall approach to specification, whereby requirements are documented in detail so that all parties clearly understand what is to be delivered by the solution.  However, I have also adopted more agile approaches (or a hybrid between the two) depending on timescales, complexity, developer capability/knowledge, and project need.

    I have over 25 years of experience working within the Public and Private Health Sectors, as well as Higher Education.   I have written and delivered teaching materials in classroom scenarios, small groups and 1:1 situations accomodating theoretical and experiential learning styles and environments.


    My role will cover the administrative side of the business along with supporting training aspects drawing upon my expertise in this area.
